In our practice we use sophisticated computerized equipment that allows us to analyze your bite and find a muscularly balanced jaw position.

Using conservative, non-surgical, individualized treatment, we have been able to relieve these symptoms for many people who thought that their situation was hopeless. To schedule a consultation to find out if your problems may be related to TMJ and to see if we think we can help you, just call and speak with us.

The basic problem may be a bite that is out of balance with the jaw muscles and jaw joints. This disharmony between the bite and the ideal jaw position can create muscle, joint and postural problems, causing many of the symptoms mentioned on the previous page.

The diagnosis can be confusing. Many patients see multiple doctors (including ENT’s, neurologists and chiropractors) and are prescribed numerous medications in an effort to control these confusing symptoms.

Many people suffer with the symptoms of TMJ problems. Some of the symptoms include:

  • Headaches or Migraines
  • Pain or noise (popping, clicking) in the jaw joints
  • Limited opening of the jaw or difficulty chewing
  • Congestion or stuffiness in the ears
  • Vertigo or dizziness
  • Neck or shoulder pain
  • Numbness in the hands or fingers
  • Cracking, chipping or breaking of teeth or dental restorations
